I’m retired now and looking for volunteer opportunities that make creative use of my talents.

I’d love to become part of a group working in an exciting, socially useful context. I’m adept at most aspects of technology including MAC, Windows, IOS and Android operating systems and their applications.

I have received a master teaching award and have been successful at presenting complex concepts in an engaging, highly interactive style that motivates participants. Topics I’ve taught run the gamut from physics, math and computer science to instructional methodology and English as a second language.

I’ve traveled all over the world with teaching and workshop gigs in England, Mexico, Kazakhstan and China. I can speak pretty good conversational Spanish and in Mandarin, can ask for a beer (and later for directions the bathroom).
